"Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place."
- 2 Chronicles 7:15
In October, a few of us at school went to Semarang, Indonesia. We didn't lay down our ground rules and so we ended up being kind of irresponsible. A few of us were worried that we just might have had perfectly demonstrated the butterfly effect. We were so scared about it that we prayed all together. We prayed for a revival in Indonesia, we prayed that God would undo all the wrong we had done, we prayed that the Holy Spirit and His divine healing would wash through the streets. I prayed the same prayer when at church camp, our pastor asked us to pray a big prayer.
Personally, I thought it was a huge request, it was sort of crazy, and it sounded impossible. I mean, revival doesn't just happen. I had no idea how this could even work.
R-AGE, my church's youth ministry, just adopted Indonesia. They are organising not one, not two, but three mission trips there next year.
God is so good and so faithful. Praise the Lord!!
God bless you guys. Dare to pray big prayers! Break all rules of reality. Nothing, nothing is impossible with God. Have an awesome start to your year!!
Love, Gabbi.
